Historically, traditional teaching methods and rote memorization techniques have often led to shallow student learning in many classrooms; yet, this contributing author of Tablets in K-12 Education will take participants on a journey to explore 8 types of technology-infused learning activities that can help change that. In fact, during this timely session, we'll see how these activities provide a dynamic, student-friendly platform for facilitating deep understanding and knowledge construction across curriculum areas. After exploring the dynamic integration of cross-platform student applications like infographics, video games, simulations, and multimedia tools, participants will be ready to take students' learning with mobile devices to a whole new level.
