Lots of Tykes Little Tech

I want to share with my fellow colleagues who may be struggling with incorporating technology into their classroom that it is possible even with limited resources. I have also noticed that there is a lack of conferences for Kindergarten and first grade. Teachers in lower grades are sometimes afraid to introduce technology to their “babies” I will bring the following apps and programs: Kahoot, Educreations, Felt Baord, Pocket Chart Pro, Epic!
Reading Raven, Hooked-on-Phonics, Starfall, Sound Sorting, Geo-Board, Bob Books, Number Rack, Number Frames, Cubes, Quick Math Jr, Animal Math, Ollie's Handwriting, Writing Wizard, Sand Draw, Sky Write, Sight Word Ninja, Reading Eggs, and a few more. All of these interactive and highly engaging activities are focused completely on meeting the Florida State Standards and only using one teacher computer, one tablet, and/or student desktops. The only thing that is a must is the internet.
If you are a lower elementary teacher YOU NEED TO COME SEE ME! I will have an abundance of ideas. If you are an educator that feels they don’t have enough technology, you won’t feel that way after our session. My goal is for each of the participants to leave feeling confident that they will be able to incorporate at least one of the ideas today.
